# Same time next week, already held.

Palaestral is booking, payments and client-record software for an independent instructor who sells their own time — surf, yoga, running, strength. Track intervals on Monday, the long run on Sunday: each can be a weekly place your runner keeps, held for them every week and paid for before they arrive. You save the meeting point once, the trailhead or the track, and every session there carries it.

- **A weekly place**: The same lesson at the same hour, booked for your runner the night your schedule opens each week, until either of you ends it.
- **What pays**: Each week is paid for 72 hours ahead: by a membership visit, else lesson credits, else the card on file where the runner allowed it, never above the price they agreed to.
- **The week ahead**: Its seat is already held. If nothing can pay for it, the seat goes back 24 hours before the lesson at the latest, and the runner is told.

- 72 hours before the lesson a weekly place is paid for
- 24 hours before, an unpaid week gives its seat back
- 7 weekly places one runner can keep with you

## What suits running

- [Packs & memberships](https://palaestral.com/product/memberships)

What pays for a weekly place: a membership's visits, lesson credits, or the card on file a runner allowed, never above the price they agreed to.
- [Booking](https://palaestral.com/product/booking)

Sessions as small groups, each runner booking and paying for their own place. When a closed trail calls a session off, you can offer each booking another time.
- [Clients](https://palaestral.com/product/clients)

A note after each session stays with the runner, so the pace they held last time is on their record when they book again.
- [Calendar feed](https://palaestral.com/product/calendar)

Every session you teach, at every place, in your own calendar app. It goes one way: nothing in your calendar is read.
