# Guides.

One subject at a time, each with the page that holds the detail.

- [Getting paid](https://palaestral.com/learn/getting-paid)

Payments go to your own Stripe account, Stripe bills its processing to you, and a refund comes out of your balance on the terms the booking was sold under.
- [Cancellation terms](https://palaestral.com/learn/cancellation-terms)

How much comes back when a client cancels, when you call a lesson off, or when conditions do: the terms you set, copied onto each booking when it is sold.
- [Waivers and minors](https://palaestral.com/learn/waivers-and-minors)

What a client signs, who signs for a child, how long a signed waiver is kept and why nobody can delete it early: the rules a booking holds to.
- [Packs, memberships and weekly places](https://palaestral.com/learn/packs-memberships-weekly)

Three ways to sell more than one lesson: a pack of lessons used as they are booked, a membership charged monthly, and a weekly place kept until it ends.
- [Gift lessons](https://palaestral.com/learn/gift-lessons)

Any of your lesson packs can be bought for somebody else: lessons that never expire and carry no fees, used by the person they were sent to.
- [Your calendar](https://palaestral.com/learn/calendar-feed)

Subscribe Apple Calendar, Google Calendar or Outlook to your teaching schedule: every booked lesson, at every place you teach, flowing one way, out.
- [Booking through an assistant](https://palaestral.com/learn/booking-through-an-assistant)

A client's own AI assistant can find your times and book them under the same rules as your page. Only the person signs the waiver, and payment is on the page.
- [Moving your clients](https://palaestral.com/learn/moving-your-clients)

Upload the people you already teach with your notes and the lessons they have left, check what will be written, and decide whether anybody is told.
- [Leaving Palaestral](https://palaestral.com/learn/leaving-palaestral)

Download everything Palaestral holds about you in one file, close your account when you choose, and know what closing does for your clients and what is kept.
