Palaestral

Your teaching, in your own calendar.

Palaestral is booking, payments and client-record software for an independent instructor who sells their own time — surf, yoga, running, strength. Subscribe once from Apple Calendar, Google Calendar or Outlook, and every lesson somebody books with you appears there, at every place you teach. Nothing comes back the other way.

19 more lessons this week

Your address
Shown to you once, and it is the key: anyone who has it can see your teaching schedule. Make a new one and the old one stops at once.
Each lesson
Every lesson booked with you, at every place you teach: what it is, where and when. Never a client's name, a note or a price.
A lesson called off
It stays in the feed marked cancelled, and its hour reads as free rather than busy.

Sample data. Not a real instructor or client.

One address, one way

Your teaching schedule is published as one calendar address, which you subscribe to once from Apple Calendar, Google Calendar or Outlook. It flows one way, out: a change you make in Palaestral reaches your calendar, and nothing your calendar holds comes back.

No calendar is signed into and none is read, so Palaestral never sees what else is in your week.

What each lesson says

Every lesson somebody has booked with you, at every place you teach, in one calendar: what it is, where it meets, when, which place it is for and how many seats are taken.

No client's name, note, booking reference, price or reason for a cancellation reaches it: those stay in Palaestral. You can add your open times too, the ones nobody has booked yet.

When something changes

A lesson called off stays in the feed marked cancelled, with its hour free again, and a lesson somebody books appears the next time your calendar reads it. It reaches back 30 days and forward 120, as far as your times are made.

The feed asks to be read again every hour. How often a calendar checks is up to its maker, and this is what each maker's help said as of October 20, 2026:

Your reminder emails are always current.

An address only you hold

Anyone who has the address can see your teaching schedule, so it is shown to you once, to add to your own calendar and nowhere else.

If it ends up somewhere it should not, make a new one: the old one stops at once, and a calendar still subscribed to it empties itself rather than keeping its last copy. You are emailed each time an address is made, so one you did not make can be turned off.

A client's own lessons

A client can subscribe to the lessons they book the same way, from their own account: each with who teaches it, where and when, their own seats and the meeting instructions you give.

What stays with you

  • Your teaching schedule, in the calendar you already use, across every place you teach.
  • Your clients' names, notes and waivers, which stay in Palaestral and never reach a calendar.
  • One address for your schedule, which you can replace or turn off whenever you choose.
